Regarding insurance and liability, several matters have been laid down within Easyfairs.
Stand insurance
Easyfairs offers a collective stand insurance policy, which exhibitors can join at an attractive rate. For all questions about the collective stand insurance, please visit: www.inevexco.co.uk.
Welding on the stand
Gas cylinders
- Only a working stock is allowed on the event floor, i.e. 1 cylinder, secured against falling over.
- Any additional stock must be stored in a ventilated, locked area separate from the building, at least 15 metres from the venue.
- At the end of each event day, the valves on all cylinders must be closed.
Protection
- Work areas must be properly shielded from visitors, for example with a barrier made of hard plastic or glass. Visitors must not be able to come into contact with heated parts or open flames.
- The floor must also be protected, for example with a rubber mat.
- It is mandatory to have a fire extinguisher and fire blanket on the stand.
- Demonstrations may only be carried out by trained personnel.
- Electric welding fume extraction is mandatory.
