Developments such as prefab, energy concepts, digital engineering and increasing performance requirements demand close cooperation between architectural and technical disciplines. InstallTech & Bouw directly addresses this by offering an integrated platform for everyone involved in realising, measuring and making buildings more sustainable.

Collaboration from the design phase onwards During InstallTech & Bouw, construction and technology come together right from the design phase. In the northeast of the Netherlands, executing and specifying parties meet to make integrated decisions at an early stage that make buildings smarter, more sustainable and more energy efficient. The intersection of construction and technology is central: the interplay between building envelope, installations and energy concepts ensures optimal comfort and performance.

During the event, professionals involved in design, construction and sustainability will find inspiration, practical tools and collaboration partners to jointly develop concrete solutions for future-proof new build and renovation. This applies to residential construction as well as non-residential and industrial buildings.

New name and date According to the event organiser, InstallTech & Bouw is a better fit with the ambition of the event: to be a central meeting place for everyone working on a sustainable and future-proof built environment. The event no longer focuses only on installers, but on all professionals involved in realising, renovating and making buildings more sustainable. Visitors will discover the latest innovations across various themes and receive concrete tools for their own projects. These include developments in prefab and circular construction, as well as smart technologies such as smart grids and smart building. Energy management and grid congestion will also be addressed.

InstallTech & Bouw will take place on a new date. Whereas Installatie Vakdagen traditionally took place in September, InstallTech & Bouw moves to the spring. In doing so, the organiser responds to the reality of the sector, where after the summer holidays professionals gear up for a busy autumn. The spring gives professionals more space to visit the event and to apply the insights gained to ongoing and planned projects.
